Employee Entitlement: Is There A Universal Approach That We Can Use in the Organizational Settings?

Employee entitlement has been studied over the years, yet few human resources management scholars and managers expected it to be a common phenomenon, especially among younger employees. Therefore, there is need for deeper insight into employee as analyzed in different ways last years. Due dynamically rapidly changing organizational settings, should considered context-dependent variable. Additionally, does not have perceived explicitly negative factor, are certain circumstances which may beneficial organization. Proper understanding of will possible through studying interactions between other variables, such identification, identification with coworkers, justice, leader-member exchange, team–member citizenship behavior, counterproductive behavior. Factors that might affect intensity discussed, well what we know about methods can increase or decrease it. This article indicates gaps inconsistencies existing research, simultaneously trying find solutions ideas difficulties encountered.
